Final Neighborhood Narrative
Our interests in access to locally grown nutritious food and the need for more community spaces where people can gather and meet led us to our investigation. In addition to gardens being sources of food and promoting health, we want to further advocate for community gardens to be places where fun and collaborative things happen. Over the summer we were able to imagine what this would look like and which blocks along the linear mile could benefit from a new community garden. Talking with farmers, non profit leaders, and community members, we were able to see what has been done in the city and how we could infuse our own creative ideas.
